VFW Post 7507 will host a free baby shower for military and veterans families on Saturday, April 13, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you are, or know of a military/veteran family, expecting a child in 2019, or who have given birth to a baby since last Oct. 1, VFW Post 7507 extends an invitation to their free baby shower.

Have lunch on them and have a chance to win a crib or youth bed. The Post has a great selection of new baby clothes and clothing for 3- to 6-month-old children, along with a supply of diapers. The Post did not forget mom – there will be a selection of new clothing for mom.

It is all free! The Post will need RSVPs by April 1. They will also need to see a copy of the mother or father’s DD-214 (discharge document) or military ID card. A special guest at the baby shower will be Mrs. Arizona 2018.

If you know of a military family that meets the criteria, please let them know about it and have them contact Post Commander Ron Smith at 480-836-5520 or by email at rsmith480@cox.net or vfw7507@yahoo.com. They do not need to live in Fountain Hills.

VFW Post 7507 is the local Fountain Hills, north Scottsdale and Verde Communities chapter of the national VFW organization. The VFW’s mission is to “honor the dead by helping the living” through veterans’ service, community service, national security and a strong national defense.
