I was rather shocked last week, while I was on my way to Phoenix, to be followed by a female tailgater who got irate when I had to stop at a yellow light before turning from Fountain Hills Blvd. to Shea.
I had to allow traffic to go by me before I could turn on a red light…while I waited, she was honking her horn again and again.
If you are that bully, in a big black Audi SUV, who intended to intimidate me in turning right even though it was not safe, I would like you to reflect and remember that you are the captain of your ship, but you do not have the right to expect me to drive the way that is convenient for you.

Perhaps you should get up 5-10 minutes earlier every day and not be so rushed to get to wherever you are going. I do.
I might expect this bad behavior of people downtown Phoenix or in other neighborhoods.
Never here.
But then, why not? It seems that politeness and respect for others are things of the past.
