Bad notoriety

The Fountain Hills School Board with its Jim Crow-like decision to fire teacher Pam Aister, a 24- year veteran, has earned national notoriety, albeit a negative one.

All because she did the right thing by standing up against bullying of a 9- year-old Afro-American child. Shame on the board for this action. I hope there is retribution at the polls, but I doubt it.

I compare this to the juries in the Deep South back in the ‘50s. There is a special place in the Hall of Shame for such injustices. This is the USA not South Africa!
