As Adjutant of the Fountain Hills Marine Corps League Detachment 1439, we would like to express our gratitude to the Falcon Leaders at Fountain Hills Middle School, along with Principal McKeever and their leader, Mrs. Goodell.

On Friday, Nov. 10, military veterans from the Marine Corps League Det. 1439, American Legion Post 58, AMVETS Post 7 and members of the Fountain Hills Elks Club, along with many other individuals, attended and were treated to their program, “Bagels for Bravery.” The morning program included personal thank-yous from students, beautifully created posters and one-on-one time with the students.

The Marine Corps League presented the principal with a book for the library titled “Goodnight Marines,” written by Iraqi War Marine Corps Veteran David Dixon. Thank you to Fountain Hills Middle School faculty and students for such a warm “thank you” to the military veterans.
