Early ballots for the Arizona Presidential Preference Primary Election to be held on March 22 will go into the mail today.

Those registered voters who are on the early voter list should receive their ballot by late this week.

Voters must be registered either Democrat, Green or Republican to vote in the Presidential Preference Election.

Those registered with no party affiliation are not eligible to vote in this election.

Those registered with one of these parties may request an early ballot by visiting the Maricopa County Recorder’s website at maricopa.vote.

There will be one polling site open in Fountain Hills for casting a ballot on Election Day, that is at the Community Center, 13001 La Montana Drive.

Voters will note that the ballots will include the names of a number of candidates who have suspended their campaign for president.
