Does your child love to sing either in a group or as a soloist?

Do your children enjoy learning sign language or dance movements to music?

Do they like the opportunity to speak and do they love Jesus?

If so, the First Baptist Church Children’s Worship Choir (CWC) might be an ideal activity for them. The choir will start its 2017-18 weekly meeting season at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 4.

The music is selected for once-monthly opportunities to share their love and praise of Jesus Christ through music during the Sunday morning service.

Nearly all music is scripture-based so another benefit is that the children will have memorized portions of God’s Word. Youngsters from first through fifth grades are eligible.

Directly following choir rehearsal, a free family meal and TeamKID begins at 5:30 p.m. TeamKID is a free fun, high-energy kids’ club that encourages the children to know Jesus and grow in a relationship with him.

Choir members also lead worship for TeamKID weekly if they desire to stay.

If transportation is needed, contact music coach Bette Vance at 480-837-3374 to make arrangements.
