Hello, my name is Daniel Ohlinger and I would like to put out a plea to the community of Fountain Hills. Please help!
I’ve been a volunteer at Extended Hands Food Bank since it opened. In the years that I’ve been there, there was one other time the shelves have been as empty as they are this year. The need is great and with the holidays coming up, a lot of people are relying on the food bank. We hope we won’t have to turn anyone away.
This amazing community has always come through for so many organizations in our town in the past. I’m so humbled to be part of this effort that makes a difference in so many lives. I thank all those who are currently supporting the food bank, “you are the food bank,” and also want to thank all the new contributors in advance for their generous support.

One can of soup and some crackers or pasta can be a meal for someone who can use one. How many people live in Fountain Hills? Just think, if each one of us donates one can of soup and some crackers/pasta, how many meals would that come to?
Some items needed: Can goods, fruits, veggies, soups, meats, cereals, pastas, peanut butter and jelly, mac and cheese. With Thanksgiving coming: stuffing, cranberry sauce, yams and maybe a turkey.
Please help us help others. Thank you so very much.
