Basant Mela Kite Festival 2018

The Pakistan Information and Cultural Organization (PICO) in Phoenix presented its annual kite festival, Basant Mela, on Saturday, March 10, in Fountain Park.

Kite flying is celebrated in many Asian countries to commemorate the arrival of spring. Live music, ethnic foods, henna tattoos, fashions, arts and crafts activities for children were included with lots of kite flying.
