The high school baseball team is set to play in the state semi-finals next weekend after besting both Chino Valley and Valley Christian this week.

Receiving a bye in the opening round of the state playoffs, the Falcons' first game of the season-ending tournament was against Chino Valley, the only sectional team to best the local squad during the regular season. After losing to Chino Valley 3-0 in the final game of the regular season, the Falcons managed to turn the table on their opponent, beating them by an identical score on Friday evening, May 9.

The Falcons had a much easier go in their second round of the tournament, beating Valley Christian Saturday afternoon by a score of 11-1.
