OPINION – Between Mayor Friedel and his followers, they found a way to silence the people of Fountain Hills by eliminating public comment at the Town Council meetings.
Was this part of the Reclaim Our Town “ROT” agenda during the right-wing campaign in 2024, to silence certain people and their concerns regarding issues about Fountain Hills? I'm sure that I'm not the only person who is really frustrated with this decision.
For the people that voted for ROT candidates, you should be upset about the Town Council decision as well, because you are also silenced. Maybe Mayor Friedel should also find a way to silence or vet Vice Mayor Skillicorn before he speaks.
