I frequently travel the Beeline Highway between Shea and the 202. I would first like to compliment the volunteers, prisoners and state employees who work so diligently and continuously to keep the roadway picked clean of debris and litter.
We all remember what it used to look like 10 years ago before this program was put in place.
My problem lies with the Republic trash hauler trucks spreading their load up into the air that then winds up on the right of way often as those responsible for the clean- up are actively doing their clean-up efforts.

This happens with trucks on their way to or leaving the landfill at the Gilbert Rd. interchange and is not limited just to Republic trash haulers. Is it because they forget or are not required to close up their doors?
I would love to see some of the patrol cars that police the highway do some monitoring of this problem and write some citations. It seems impossible that they don't notice the littering happening.
This also happens while these vehicles travel through my community and Fountain Hills.
