I hope all Fountain Hills residents get down to the Great Fair and have a wonderful time buying from both vendors and local merchants downtown.

There are many food vendors including many of our local charitable and fraternal organizations such as Rotary, Kiwanis and the VFW. This Great Fair is one of the major fundraising activities for these clubs. Please support them.

I specifically ask that everyone consider the VFW Beer Garden as a place to relax and enjoy a meal with or without a drink.

The VFW Beer Garden on Saguaro Blvd. just south of Avenue of the Fountains is the only vendor spot that serves beer or wine, but that is not all.

The VFW Garden serves freshly cooked brats and hot dogs. Additionally, Red Shirt Friday shirts will be on sale. Come look at the new designs for these great shirts and sweat shirts.

All Red Shirt Friday sales have gone to support homeless veterans.

The VFW Garden has shaded tables and music as well as hourly raffles.
