Behavior of citizens during Fountain Hills meeting was chaos

OPINION – My first council speech was a trial by fire — and the fire was a screaming, aggressive crowd. It appeared to be a coordinated group, acting to intimidate anyone who dared to speak.

What viewers didn’t see: Chaos raged off-camera every recess. Their screaming forced the Mayor to clear the room — and rightly so. A man went nuclear — hurling vicious insults at the mayor and Skillicorn — then without provocation, he started yelling insults at me. Pure unhinged behavior all on our video and completely dangerous in a public meeting.

In the lobby, the crowd went completely berserk, screaming in unison, desperate to disrupt the meeting inside. In the town meeting video, you can watch a woman making deranged gestures behind me while I was speaking.
