Arizonans have a choice this November — to either continue sending extremists to Congress or to elect Democrats like Amish Shah, who are ready to deliver real results and move our state forward.

Dr. Shah, an emergency room physician and former member of the Arizona House of Representatives, has been working to lower health care costs by standing up to big pharma. During his time in the legislature, Dr. Shah reduced obstacles to HIV testing and worked to enhance postpartum care for women. Dr. Shah is ready to fight for the things Arizonans care about because he has been doing so for years.

David Schweikert has been in Congress since 2013 and has only fought for the interest of billionaires and has hurt our working-class families. While Arizonans struggle to keep up with rising costs, Schweikert and the Republican Study Committee voted to cut billions in funding for Social Security and Medicare for seniors in Arizona. When legislation was introduced that invested millions in Arizona's broadband access and infrastructure workforce development, Schweikert voted against it. David Schwikert has also co-sponsored The Life at Conception Act six times, which bans abortion nationwide and threatens access to IVF. Then he used Arizonan’s tax dollars to send out mailers bragging about his anti-abortion record.

The contrast between Dr. Shah and David Schwikert could not be clearer. While Schwikert realizes his time is running out, Dr. Amish Shah is ready to go to Congress and fight for Arizonans.

Arizonans have the power to decide who controls the U.S. House this November and what President Kamala Harris can accomplish. We must vote for Amish Shah to lower costs for Arizonans, protect our abortion rights and ensure Arizonans’ water future.
