Bernadine Wicht, 84, of Fountain Hills passed away peacefully under the loving care from the staff of Mountainside Assisted Living Home May 8, 2017, after a hard fought battle with lung cancer.
Born in Gallipolis, Ohio, she was a graduate of Gallipolis High. In 1951 she married Charles Fredrich Wicht. Two children were born, Charles Michael Wicht and Kathrine Ann Wicht. The family relocated to Michigan from Ohio.
Bernadine (Bernie) worked in the medical field starting as a receptionist and quickly moving up to the position of office manager, which she held until retirement. In 1988 Chuck and Bernie moved to Fountain Hills.
She is survived by her son, Chuck, and his wife, Barbara, and her granddaughter, Rachelle Gabel, and her brother, Robert Donnett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck, and her daughter, Katherine Ann.
