I have had the opportunity to review MCO’s Adero Canyon development plan and strongly believe it is in our town’s best interest for the Town Council to approve it.
Over the last several years, Fountain Hills has experienced reductions in the student and general population. Since much of the town’s revenues come from the state, our proportionate share has been going down, causing significant budget pressures, staff reductions and delayed replacement of infrastructure.
I believe that a resurgence of population along with renewed real estate development will not only bring many benefits to the town in general, but to the business community as well.

Development fees, increased sales tax as well as state-shared tax revenues and a reversal in the student population will benefit everyone making Fountain Hills their home. I urge the Town Council to approve this project.
