In loving memory of Bette Rose O’Halleran, 83, of Fountain Hills.

Bette was born Feb. 21, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Nicholas and Margaret Kuhn.

A loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her sister, Patricia Mueller of Madison, Wis., and brother, Edward Stacknick of McHenry, Ill.

Bette is the proud mother of six children, Pamela Dodson of Fountain Hills, Kimberly Wilson (Kim) and David Nugent (Mary) of McHenry, Ill., Nicole Koffski (Clayton) of Scottsdale, Tracey Ogurek of Lantana, Texas, and Susan Bryniarski (Bob) of Fountain Hills.

She is also a wonderful grandmother and great- grandmother. Bette lived a good part of her life in McHenry as she raised her six children. She was employed by Bimbos restaurant for many years as a cook. She was well known for her famous delicious homemade soups.

She loved music, dancing, and animals. In 1989 her dream came true when she moved to Fountain Hills. She enjoyed all the beauty of the desert. She is our desert rose, our desert dweller. We will all cherish her memory. She will be loved and missed, and will be forever in our hearts.
