Both candidates for our Fountain Hills mayor love our town. Both see the great points of Fountain Hills and areas where our town needs help. Both are good folks. But it takes more than being a good person to be a great mayor.

One candidate has more business exposure and experience, state and local contacts, more energy to help Fountain Hills continue to be a great place to live both in the short term and long term. I was in real estate development here in the Valley for a number of years. Having many contacts in the business, I recently contacted several of them to get a read on Cecil Yates. I indicated that I would not use any of their names if some wanted to give some derogatory comments about Mr. Yates.

Consistently, I received very positive comments about his ethics, ability to create budgets and stay within budgets, and his high energy levels which made working with him a pleasure. All thought he would make a great mayor for our town.

Cecil Yates, with a successful family life, many business accomplishments and council endeavors, is the better candidate for our Town of Fountain Hills.

Help our town survive and thrive by voting for the better candidate, Cecil Yates.
