Betty J. Shuck

Betty J. Shuck (B.J.), 86, of Fountain Hills passed away peacefully on Sept. 11, 2014.

B.J. lived in many places during her life, however, for the last 25 years she called Fountain Hills home.

Her brother, Earl Herche, preceded her in death. B.J. is survived and will be deeply missed by her husband, Dallas Shuck, and who she shared years of travel, adventure and fun.

She has two surviving brothers, Gerald Herche of Butlerville, Ind. and Richard Herche of Anderson, Ind. She is survived by her daughters, Sidney Briani (George) of Fountain Hills and Tracie Tudor (T.R. Loon) of Madison, Wis.; and her sons, Monte D. Shuck (Carol) of Jarrell, Texas; her grandchildren, Aaron Dial (Jennifer Shook), Ansely Knoch (Fred), Ariel Hendrickson (Patrick Dickerson), Jovon Everett (Shelia) and Casey Shuck (Sarah) and four great-grandchildren.

B.J. worked in advertising until life called her to have more fun. She and Dallas bicycled all over the U.S. and Europe. They also loved to hike the Arizona mountain trails.

She gave her time to a variety of charitable organizations and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Of all the places she lived and traveled, B.J. loved the beach dearly. May she walk sand beaches with ocean breezes forever.
