Betty Welbourn

Betty Welbourn went to be with the Lord on Nov. 3, 2013 of natural causes.

She was born Jan. 26, 1924 and was originally from Chicago and a resident in Fountain Hills for 10 years.

She was a good-hearted lady who couldn’t do enough for you; she will be missed deeply.

Married 60 years to Thomas Welbourn and widowed for 10 years, she had five children, Thomas Welbourn, Kathy Moore, Teri Granzow, Chris Welbourn and Tina Screens. She also had eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A memorial will be held at the Fountain Hills Community Center, 13001 La Montana Drive, Thursday, Nov. 21, from 5 to 9 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join her family to celebrate her life. May she rest in peace.
