General Michael Flynn, former National Security Adviser and an honorable man, has been vilified and has resigned under a cloud. There is no legal matter at issue. The 1795 law disallowing private citizens from negotiating with foreign governments has never been invoked. As a fact: The time window is as small as two hours.
If Flynn had spoken to the Russian diplomat as little as two hours before former President Obama’s sanction; of throwing out 35 Russian diplomats, there could not be any question of law.
To the question of honesty, there is no question either, as far as I am concerned. That could simply be Flynn’s forgetting.
A very good man has been lost from our front lines in our nation’s battle. General Kellog will be there in the front lines.
Schumer is concerned about his $200,000-plus per year job. Because he is anticipating his being voted out by independents – a little man. A little man supposedly finding a “big cause.” That is his error.
