As a lifelong Boston sports team fan, I was very pleased with the Patriots’ victory.
As I thought about the game I realized, there was also an important lesson from the game. Our society believes that the young are great and us old guys can never achieve what they can. The Rams’ coach is 32 and the quarterback is 23. The Patriots’ coach is 66 and the quarterback 43. The old guys beat the young guys.
The lesson from that game is that age is just a number and we senior citizens can still effectively do whatever we want to do.
