A huge “Big K” pancake breakfast for only $6?
The Noon Kiwanis Club isn’t fooling around by serving a “No Foolin” pancake breakfast Saturday morning, April 1.
It will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Kiwanis Activity Center, 16957 E. Kiwanis Drive.
The clubhouse is located south of Fountain Park, between Saguaro and El Lago boulevards.
The typical “Big K” breakfast consists of three huge pancakes, sausage, applesauce and scrambled eggs – all for a cost of $6.
A la carte menu items will be available along with refreshments such as coffee, milk and orange juice.
Proceeds will benefit the Noon Kiwanis Club’s programs and grants that are directed primarily to children in town and throughout the world.
The club also will be conducting the second day of its blood drive at the Community Center that Saturday, so all blood donors are urged to have a hearty breakfast before or after donating.
“We’ll have tables and chairs set up inside the Kiwanis clubhouse, so the weather won’t be a factor,” club President Ken Brown said. “Come on out and support a good cause and get a great breakfast at the same time.”
