This is an indoor program that will take place at the Visitors Center at 10 a.m. Park Ranger Amy Burnett will lead the group in attempting to mimic the bird songs heard in the desert and backyards.
Ranger Amy will also discuss the multi-media tools available to help identify birds by their songs.

Birding program at MM Park

Birding by ear will be a weekend program at McDowell Mountain Park on Saturday, April 19.
This is an indoor program that will take place at the Visitors Center at 10 a.m. Park Ranger Amy Burnett will lead the group in attempting to mimic the bird songs heard in the desert and backyards.
Ranger Amy will also discuss the multi-media tools available to help identify birds by their songs.
Programs are free, but there is a $6 per vehicle entry fee to get into the park about four miles north of Fountain Hills along McDowell Mountain Road.
