Bjorn Brinkman

Bjorn Brinkman, 60, died unexpectedly on March 3, 2018 in Flagstaff after a short illness. He is survived by his mother, Gerd Brinkman; children Ben, Miles and Annika in Missouri with ex-wife, Judy; three grandchildren, and niece, Rebecca Biehler. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo “Bud” Brinkman and sister, Suzan Biehler (Mike). His brother Leo died on Aug. 1, 2018.

Bjorn was born July 21, 1957 in France into an Air Force family. He graduated in 1975 from the AFCENT high school in Holland. He spent his childhood in Lake Charles, La., Little Rock, Ark., Rapid City, S.D., Holland and Norway, and lived in Missouri and Arizona.

He had a degree in Civil Engineering from Northern Arizona University and retired from the EPA. He was an active alumnus of TKE fraternity.

Bjorn loved living in Flagstaff, returning there after a long absence. He was loved by many friends and relatives.
