Christ’s Church of Fountain Hills was founded on May 4, 1984. This Sunday we will celebrate our 29th anniversary as a church!

It’s a unique year in that I was 29 years old when I started our church. That means I have spent exactly half of my life as the pastor here at Christ’s Church. I am blessed! We still have a handful of members who joined the church during those first couple of critical years. Many others have come and gone, but these stalwart members have been steadfast and true for more than a quarter of a century.

We still have a handful of members who joined the church during those first couple of critical years. They have been faithful through the good times and the tough times, through the fun and the challenges, through the building and the growing, through the ups and the downs, through thick and thin. Each and every one of these incredible individuals holds a very special place in my heart. God bless you!

Of course, we have also been blessed in that many, many tremendous individuals have chosen to unite with our early church pioneers and now call Christ’s Church their home. Our church family has grown and matured and we are now a thriving, mighty church representing our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in our Fountain Hills community. God has blessed us and we are eternally grateful for these blessings.

Accordingly, this Sunday we celebrate! Immediately after our morning service we’ll have a celebration party. There will be several inflatables for the kids to play on. We’ll also share a BBQ lunch as a church family. We would be honored to have our friends in the community join us for our morning service (10:00) and/or for the BBQ immediately following the service.

With thanks!
