The April 12-13 blood drive will feature a drawing in which the winner and three guests will share dinner with local firefighters at their new facility on Fountain Hills Boulevard.
To make an appointment to give blood, call Dr. Liz Smith at 480-837-2600 (work) or 480-837-8110 (personal), or Paul Appeldorn at 480-836-8213. Donors also may go to the Vitalant (formerly United Blood Systems) website, bloodhero.com and make an appointment. Select “Kiwanis” when signing up.

The blood drive is sponsored by Noon Kiwanis and the Town of Fountain Hills. The drive will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days at the Community Center.
The dinner winner will coordinate with the fire department for a dinner time and date. The firemen will prepare and serve the meal.
