Fountain Hills Noon Kiwanis and the Town of Fountain Hills will host the next blood drive Friday and Saturday, Aug. 30 and 31.
The theme for the upcoming drive is “blood drives are cool.” Organizers Paul Appeldorn and Dr. Liz Smith said there are three reasons the theme was selected: 1) donating blood is a cool thing to do; 2) donors can get out of the heat and donate in the cool Community Center; and 3) all donors will receive a coupon for a cool pint of frozen custard from Culver’s
Appointments may be made now by visiting bloodhero.com and using the sponsor code, Kiwanis, or by calling Paul Appeldorn, 480-836-8213, or Dr. Liz, 480-837-2600.
