I would like to take this opportunity to thank the School District and governing board for making the tough decision to place a teacher on leave of absence.

The decision to put a teacher on leave of absence is never an easy one, but sometimes it is the only choice. It is important that the School District always put children first, and until the details of what happened are heard in the hearing, the district cannot take a chance by putting the teacher back in the classroom.
