Board to talk bond, capital projects

It should be a busy night for the Fountain Hills Unified School District governing board with a public meeting on bond and capital outlay expenditures serving as a highlight.

For folks who wish to keep abreast of what money is going where, as well as what is planned for ongoing/upcoming District projects funded by bond and capital funds, this presentation will be the one to catch.

It will follow another pair of presentations early on in the meeting, with both STUGO and Four Peaks/Middle School Principal Anita Gomez offering updates to the Board.

It may only be October, but FHUSD is already planning for the months ahead. A look at the 2017-18 school calendar will appear as an informational report during tonight’s meeting, as well as possible approval of both Governing Board and Superintendent goals for 2016-17. These goals were discussed and agreed upon during a recent retreat.

This meeting is open to the public and is scheduled for tonight, Oct. 26, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the District Learning Center.
