The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board met in executive session Thursday evening, Sept. 25, to go over a recommendation made by hearing attorney Prudence Lee in regards to local educator, Pam Aister. According to the agenda for another special meeting to be held this coming Monday, Sept. 29, the recommendation calls for Aister's dismissal.
Aister was allegedly involved in an incident during the 2013-14 school year involving a handful of Four Peaks Elementary School students. During a hearing held in early September, Lee heard cases from Aister and the District concerning the matter, the goal being to determine if Aister's comments/behavior were grounds for termination or other disciplinary action.

While Lee's full recommendation is not yet available to the public, it appears that she is calling for Aister's dismissal.
The local School Board discussed the recommendation this past Thursday and will meet again on Monday, Sept. 29, to discuss it further at 5:30 p.m. in the District Learning Center. Following further consideration in executive session, the meeting will reconvene in public for an action item pertaining to the recommendation.
Taken from the evening's agenda: "Governing Board determination and decision regarding the recommendation to terminate the employment of teacher Pamela J. Aister."
