A big “thank you” from the Fountain Hills Friends of the Library to everyone who donated and purchased books to support the Library Resale Book Shop sale on Saturday, March 22. The response was tremendous. Twenty-one hundred books were sold. The Book Sale and the Book Shop sales for the day totaled $1,978!

The Book Shop and the semi-annual sales are the major fundraisers for the Friends of the Library. Every dollar made is used to keep the Fountain Hills Branch Library “state of the art” for our faithful patrons, and to fund the regular Front Porch performances, author events and children’s programs we all appreciate.

Thanks also to the many faithful volunteers who work behind the scenes to ensure the success of these public events.

Additional thanks to the 233 patrons who have supported the Friends efforts by becoming members. A $15 membership donation will ensure that you receive weekly updates on library programs and offerings. Check at the library, library Resale Book Shop or the fhla.com website for membership information.
