The other evening I attended an eye-opening program at the monthly meeting of the Fountain Hills Tea Party. Fifty of us jammed the meeting hall for the border crisis program where I got the straight talk from experienced professionals on the border. They brought the perspective from customs, border patrol, Judicial Watch and ICE. Here are some key points these front-line fighters shared.

The legal name for what the media incorrectly calls migrants is, “illegal alien.” Remember, it is not hate speech to speak the truth. Our president is telling the truth, there is a crisis and the border officers support President Trump.

The immigration system is broken; the officers indicate their hands are tied and laws are not enforced. There are two magic words, “credible fear.” Illegals have only to utter those two words in order to seek asylum and thousands pour in.

The maximum amount Arizona’s two detention facilities can hold is 3,300. When full, the only options are ankle bracelets that are easily cut off when illegals are released into society where officers are unable to track them.

How easy is it to walk into the U.S.? Stand at the Port of Nogales, stroll 2.5 miles west and the border wall abruptly stops. Drive 8.5 miles east and the wall becomes non-existent. Once in the United States, illegals can get free health care, transportation, food and free education.

Estimated non-citizens currently in the U.S. is 11 million and the speakers agreed the number is likely twice that amount. Drugs/sex trafficking continue flowing with numbers mounting. I believe those on the border over the lies perpetrated by the fake media and members of congress who claim the border crisis is just manufactured.
