My family hosted Anthony Bourdain when he came to El Salvador to visit the country and taste our native food.

He rated our pupusas, which are a national dish, as the best in Central America and was gracious to the underprivileged residents in the jungle and mountain villages.

My family hosted Anthony Bourdain when he came to El Salvador to visit the country and taste our native food.

He rated our pupusas, which are a national dish, as the best in Central America and was gracious to the underprivileged residents in the jungle and mountain villages.

He also rated our local Pilsner beer as one of the best.

Congratulations on a very nice story of a person who cared.
