Boys & Girls Club hosts award ceremony in Fountain Hills

Boys & Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale - Mary Ellen & Robert McKee Branch hosted its end of the quarter award ceremony. Various kids who participated in clubs and stayed the entire quarterreceived certificates for committing to their respective clubs. The students also received buttons as a badge of honor and appreciation from the clubs.

“We had a little ceremony event, a nice family event,” said Branch Director Lauren Stratton. “They made some little ornaments, and then we awarded all the kids that finished the quarter club. We have a running club that did a whole half marathon, ping pong, hockey and a holiday gift maker’s class. We did a clay ceramics class, and then we had our advanced art.”
