Build on Hope is hosting a fundraising event at the VFW in Fountain Hills on Saturday June 18, from 5 to 9 p.m. This year, the non-profit organization is focusing on animal conservation, which affects our ecosystem.
There is currently a drought happening in Africa. Animals are dying fast. The charity needs support to continue with their humanitarian and animal conservation efforts.
“Our focus in Africa is on animal conservation. We have put together a plan of action against the poaching that is taking place all over Africa,” said Yvonne Wan, organizer of the event. “Let us come together and speak out for these animals. If we don't save them over there, we will not have them over here.”
