Missing your visit to Arby's for lunch today. The restaurant on Shea Boulevard in the Crossroads Plaza was cordoned off with yellow police tape as Maricopa County Sheriff's detectives combed the building and area outside for evidence needed to capture a burglar.

A witness reported seeing someone near the front door shortly after closing on Thursday, according to MCSO. The front door glass was broken out to gain entry and an attempt was made to break into a safe.

Detectives say Fountain Hills was one of four Arby's restaurants broken into overnight, adding to a list of about two dozen in recent weeks. MCSO detectives are working with police in Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert where other Arby's break-ins have occurred.
