Cancer survivor recognized during Fountain Hills proclamation
Mayor Ginny Dickey, left, issued a proclamation during the Sept. 4 town council meeting designating September as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. “I encourage all residents of Fountain Hills to observe Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and to support the cause that so deeply impacts families in every community,” Dickey said. She presented a copy of the proclamation to Rachel Putman, who is an ovarian cancer survivor. She was accompanied by her husband, Brandon who is Town of Fountain Hills Parks Superintendent.
