Those caring for a person living with dementia can learn how to successfully navigate the financial, legal, emotional and physical challenges of this disease.

This course consists of two workshops. Each workshop takes place at the Fountain Hills Community Center, 13001 N. La Montana Drive. The program is free and open to the public. Call the Community Center at 480-816-5200 to register.

Workshop One: Legal Aspects of Estate Planning takes place on Thursday, Feb. 1, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Course #2533. Speakers are Stephanie A. Bivens, Esq., CELA with Bivens & Associates, PLLC and Stephanie Russell, BSN with Concierge Senior Care Management.

Workshop Two: Planning and Paying for Long-term Care takes place on Thursday, March 7, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Course # 2534. Speakers are Attorney Megan Selvey, Esq. with Bevins & Associates, PLLC, Scott Charles, AIF, CDP with Pelleton Capital Management and Stephanie Russell, BSN with Concierge Senior Care Management.
