The Fountain Hills Chamber Players’ performance on Dec. 6 was outstanding.
Musical director Dr. Joseph Kluesener has brought into this well-established ensemble a new group of instrumentalists, most of whom are post-graduate candidates at ASU. Their performance sparkled!
We particularly enjoyed the Andreas Tarkmann arrangement of pieces from “The Nutcracker.” This setting for a small ensemble of winds and brass provided a fresh take on Tchaikovsky’s beloved classic, and it was beautifully played.

How fortunate we are to have such a fine performing group based here in our community. We eagerly look forward to the remaining programs in their season and encourage our Fountain Hills neighbors to attend and enjoy!
