The National Weather Service is forecasting a 40 percent chance of rain and thunderstorm for Fountain Hills on Monday night.
The chance of storms will remain at 40 percent of Tuesday before dropping to 20 percent for Tuesday night through Thursday. A slight chance of rain continues into the early weekend.
The possibility of isolated strong thunderstorms with heavy rain and flooding is associated with this weather pattern through the week.
Motorists are urged to stop and not try and drive through flooded washes.
