Everything changes and that means different ideas have to come forward to insure that the theater remains open and financially healthy.
We do not want to lose this valuable asset to the community. A lot of the grants we used to obtain are no longer available. The town is not giving us the amount of money they did previously and now that the town has given the theater the building, the theater is now responsible for its maintenance.
What all this means is that the theater must come up with new ways of running things; which means lowering its cost, including the office staff plus many other items. The board and the executive director have come up with a plan which will allow the theater to remain solvent and stay around for a long time, unlike many other theaters in the Valley which have had to close their doors.

Nobody wants that to happen here, so we must change the way we spend money. Unfortunately that is never a popular idea but is absolutely necessary if we want our theater to remain.
