Charlene McKenna

Charlene “Charlie” McKenna, born April 6, 1942, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 9, 2018.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, at The Church of the Ascension in Fountain Hills. Following the service will be a celebration of her life held at the McKenna residence.

Charlene was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and, most importantly, friend to us all. She had an immense amount of love for her family and community and was a proud supporter of the American Legion.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenny McKenna; her daughters, Michelle Davis and Kimberly James; her step-daughters, Pam Schroeder and Wendy Bonner; her grandchildren, Ashley Kenefick-Rogers (Cean), Brittany Kinnamon (Dani), Colton Bonner, Grace James and Danica Schroeder; and great grandson, Maverick Kenefick-Rogers.

Because of her love for animals, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Arizona Humane Society.
