Charlotte Warren Fry, 84, of Rio Verde passed away Nov. 29, 2014, at Sunflower Assisted Living. She was born Nov. 7, 1930 in St. Louis, Mo. Later, she moved and spent her childhood in Omaha, Neb., and graduated from the University of Nebraska where she met and married William Fry on May 31, 1952.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years and two children, Mike and spouse (Chris) Fry of Houston, Texas, and Cindy (Dan) Cammack of Dodge City, Kan.; four grandchildren, Will (Tiffany) Fry of Sakhlinskaya, Russia, Cristy (Reuben) Kerbs of Wichita, Kan., Cori Fry of Seattle, Wash. and Jenny (Mitch) Guetterman of Marion, Kan.; seven great- grandchildren, Charlotte, Ashlynn, Hugh, RJ, Mike, Christopher and Elle; brother, Jim Warren of Omaha Neb.; and cousin, Pat Hemmer of Rio Verde.
She is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Jo Marie Warren.
She and her husband Bill Fry moved to Denver, Colo. in 1954 to raise their family.
Charlotte was dedicated to her children and volunteered in their many activities. She also volunteered at church, was an avid reader, enjoyed bridge clubs, sewing groups and golf.
After retirement Bill and Char spent their winters in Rio Verde and their summers in Denver where she continued to be involved in many activities. She volunteered at Rio Verde Community Church and continued to enjoy golf and the good friends they have in each community.
The family would like to say thank you to Verde Cares, Community Church of the Verdes, Sunflower Assisted Living, and Hospice of the Valley for all their continued support. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to any of the above.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014.
