Fountain Hills Charter School will host an amateur dog show this Saturday, Nov. 4. Local dog owners are invited to take part and the community is invited to come out and watch the show.
The dog show will be held in the FHCS gym, 16811 E. El Pueblo Blvd. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with the contest set to kick off at 11 a.m.
You can register a dog for as many categories as you like for $5 per category in advance by visiting the school’s front office. Registration on the day of the event will be $7 per category.

Fountain Hills Charter School will host an amateur dog show this Saturday, Nov. 4. Local dog owners are invited to take part and the community is invited to come out and watch the show.
The dog show will be held in the FHCS gym, 16811 E. El Pueblo Blvd. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with the contest set to kick off at 11 a.m.
You can register a dog for as many categories as you like for $5 per category in advance by visiting the school’s front office. Registration on the day of the event will be $7 per category.
Categories include tallest dog, shortest dog, shaggiest dog, wiggliest dog, best trick, best groomed, most obedient, happiest, best costume and most affectionate. Ribbons will be awarded to the top three dogs in each category.
Judges for the show will be Ron Waldo and Bonnie Hollabaugh from the Fountain Hills Leadership Academy, as well as George Holtan.
Hot dogs and beverages will be available for purchase at the event.
Dogs and children must not be left unattended during the event.
Proceeds go to support the children of Fountain Hills Charter School.
