Close friends of Susan and Alex Constandse recently celebrated their wedding wedding with a reception the Fountain Hills Elks Lodge.

As owners of Mountain View Coffee House for the past year, local residents have come to enjoy each other’s company on their Fountain Park patio. Visitors are welcome from around the states and foreign countries. It is a great place to walk, jog or bike in the area.

Alex is getting known for his variety of warm scones: orange cranberry, chocolate cherry, apricot brandy and rum raisin. Pastries and bite-sized cakes, shortbreads and now seasonal treats. Smoothies are 100 percent fruit plus a selection of healthy teas and of course coffees made to your liking.

Now popular pumpkin spice, peppermint bark and apple spice to mention a few…

Sandwiches include the morning croissant with ham, eggs and cheese. Daily selections are turkey, cranberry and cream cheese, chicken salad with red grapes and nuts, and deluxe egg salad. Whole wheat bread is available, too. Menus are ever changing as Susan listens to her customers’ advice.

Employees greet everyone at 7 a.m. until closing at 5 p.m. starting this month. Remember, your family dog is welcomed to sit with you on the patio. The scenery and quietness to read and take in the surrounding beauty is a big plus for Fountain Hills.
