Before the doors open at the L. Alan Cruikshank River of Time Museum & Exploration Center in Fountain Hills, Cherie Koss looked forward to showing up before anyone arrived to get work done.
In those early hours, she imagined the characters living inside the museum coming to life, envisioning the stories they might tell if they could move and speak.
“It’s sort of the ‘Night at the Museum’ idea, that when we’re not here, some of the statues and things have their own lives,” Koss said. “I just imagined all the different characters that are alive and moving around. It’s special to come into a place like this.”
