Thank you donors, volunteers and judges from the Chili Cook Off/St. Patrick’s Day Event team and Extended Hands Food Bank!
We are so grateful for your generosity. We have so many people to thank for helping make this event happen and getting some much-needed donations and support to the Extended Hands Food Bank. As many of you know we were in a time crunch and disappointed we were not able to secure Fountain Park for this event – the heat and location made this a big challenge.
As usual, our amazing volunteers worked hard and made it happen. The community rallied and we were able to drum up donations to bring in live music (great job Hippie Gold and Eric Landau) and DJ Steve Grosz. We appreciate your assistance Linda Mehaffey, Fountain Hills Property Management, Shea/Connelly Construction, Fountainside Plaza, Keller Williams-Barker Team, Fountain Fashions, Schultz Chiropractic, Jay Schlum and Dr. Mark Sullivan.

Raffle prizes were donated by R&S Mattress (Doug Poll), Phil’s Filling Station, Broken Yolk, and Comfort Inn.
The volunteer effort was lifesaving! We couldn’t have done this without you. The Smith Family (Fountain Hills Martial Arts, Smith Family Chiropractic, and NEXT Financial Group), AFC Chiropractic, DAR – Susan Titus, Kern Realty, and countless names of dedicated, hardworking people too numerous to list.
And finally, to our Chili Cook Off Judges, thank you so much for taking time to participate in our Second Annual Arch Mehaffey Chili Cook Off Patricia Tonzi, Dr. Liz Smith, Peter Volny, Dana Saar, Senator John Kavanagh, Dan Margolis, Art Tolis, Diana Rickenbaugh, Jayson Payne and Bruce Chen.
Travis Tonzi, your knowledge and experience is priceless; we can’t wait to work with you again.
With gratitude,
-Phyliss, Kathy, Travis and Paul; Chili Cook Off/St. Patrick’s Day Event Team.
