Chotzi

What a fun read for a Wednesday night! Barb Charzuk’s story about burlesque performer Chotzi Foley Van Bemmel was a delight. Hearing about Chotzi’s adventures with Gypsy Rose Lee, Sammy Davis Jr., Lena Horne and the nation’s first integrated acts was a delectable and important piece of history.

Yet another reason to love Fountain Hills is that we have so many fascinating neighbors.
