Christ's Church begins 'Revelation' series

Posted

A new sermon series will begin this Sunday, Oct. 19, at Christ’s Church.

Based on the last book of the Bible, “The Revelation” will be a chapter by chapter, weekly Sunday morning series, according to Pastor Don Lawrence.

Lawrence said, “As we explore this incredible book, we will seek to discover what God has prophetically revealed so long ago.

“Why venture into this quagmire of theological debate? It can be confusing, controversial, even divisive.

“First and foremost, all scripture is inspired by God. As such, it is deserving of our study. God reveled these truths in Revelation for a reason. Whatever that reason might be, it ought not to be ignored.”

Lawrence has written a study journal that will accompany the series. The journal can be used for daily devotions as well as for family devotions or small group study. The journals are free to all who are in attendance during the series.

Christ’s Church is a non- denominational Christian Church. It is located at 15555 E. Bainbridge, at the corner of Bainbridge and Glenbrook.
